hi, I went to the store and i got the game call command&conquer generals when i put in game and try to play it it said "the DDRAW.DLL file is linked to missing export NTDLL.DLL:VerSetConditionMask" and it interfears with other games to if you know any thing about gameing can you help me some 1 plz and thank you

I don't know that much about games, never play them.

BUT it sounds like you did not read all of the instructions that came with the game and verify that your system met all of the requirments.

DDRAW.DLL is part of the DirectX software package from Microsoft for supporting games. And many games require the newer versions of DirectX to be installed on your system. Often the CD will have a version of DirectX on it that you can install. But to be safe, you need the latest version of DirectX 9.0c to be installed to avoid the error message you are getting. You should have it installed (or can get it) from the Microsoft Windows Update site.

However, this package is quite large and not something you want to download and install if you only have a Dial-Up Internet connection. Best to download DirectX 9.0c Redistributable package on a broadband connected system and copy it to CD. Then use the package to expand it to a work folder, then run its setup program.

thank you for ur help but i tryed it and it didnt work:( it does meet my system requirements cause i have play other c&c games on this compture in the past but when i move i dint play it form a long time then i tryed to play it and it would not work i look at some of my sysem info and it said no DirectX was installed and it said install the lastes DirectX and i did it was that 1 you toled me to and i did it and it still dont work ?
