Windows Media Player Slow's Playing

Yes. Whenever I am on the Internet and I click on a link or move to another page
or something and I am playing Windows Media Player at the same time whatever song
or video I am playing, it slows down and makes a cutting noise. It's almost like
if I dont have enough memory for both applications to be on. Any help would be very
appricaited.

Hi Brian,
Try running both the Resource Meter (rsrcmtr.exe) and the System Monitor (sysmon.exe)
to determine what your system is starving for. Set up the System Monitor to display
"Memory Manager, Unused physical memory". You can minimize this monitor to a very
small window and park in the corner of the Desktop out of the way.

Ron

You could also run WINTOP
to watch the CPU usage.

That could be a problem with Internet Explorer and its Temporary files getting
clogged up. Try going in to Internet Options and clearing the Temporary Internet
Files. Then go to System Tools and run Disk Clean-Up.
If that does not work, get and run the DELINDEX.BAT procedure from a boot
diskette. Works wonders for IE related problems like these.
