You are right, my original version of IE is 5.0 or 5.5 but due to updates, etc. when I hit Help and About IE the version it shows me I'm running is 6.0.2800.1106IS. I have downloaded IE 6.0 SP2 but I'm not sure if that is the full IE 6.0 version or just a service pack to it. Where or how do I get IE 6.0? That is one option you can take. Another option would be downloading Firefox and using that as your primary browser. Then repair IE through add/remove or replace file (if you want) and use it as secondary browser. IE SP2 is a little to restrictive IMO. Its up to you but I would suggest the second option. I had other problems that I have been able to ultimately fix by reinstalling Internet Explorer such as, I would get MSTHML.DLL errors whenever I tried to go to the Microsoft website to get updates. It would shut me down everytime. Somehow I fixed that but I cannot restore my printing capability. I've run Hijack this and created a log file if that helps, it's kind of like gibberish to me. I know just enough to get me in trouble.
