When I delete history all but about 8 items are removed,when I go to run the same 8 items are still there,how do I remove these items.Thanks for any help.

Run this program to clear out junk, including the Index.dat files. That 'should' clear it all up. It's a popular little program. First, click Options and select any Cookies you don't want removed. CCleaner
