hi there i have a compaq armada 1700, i read all the posts and i saw a solution. fn+f8 power up, tap f11, f1 to save. but this is for boot on floppy drive A:, my compaq armada 1700 doesnt have a floppy, i have a cd-rom. need help with that and i want to install windows millenium (me). remember cd-rom/windows me (no floppy), armada 1700 regards

Sounds like you need to get into your Bios(System Setup)and change the boot order to boot from the CD first. http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/winme/t1003933721
