Video Driver Errors

I've been getting quite a few blue screen error messages lately. When I check the
fault log a lot of times it lists WOP3 caused a general protection fault in S3_8NB.DRV.
I know that 3S_8NB.DRV is my video driver but not sure what WOP3 is or how to correct
this. My driver is a VIA VT8365 ProSavage KM133 and I can't find any updates or
upgrades. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

Your problems will take some troubleshooting steps, but it may still be a driver
issue. You may want to get some hands on help, if you continue to have problems.
See 06: Invalid Opcode Fault on this page.

Also, Jack's web page may be some help. It's an excellent ME resource...

Your right Carol I think I do need some hands on help.
I tried to make sense of the microsoft page (even before I posted) and just couldn't
do it.
I also tried every fix it on Jack's page that I thought might tie in (again before
I posted) so at least I was on the same page as you.
Thanks!

You're welcome, Kelly. I could tell you'd researched this problem extensively. Sometimes
a bootlog will show a problem with a driver. Another thing I'd try is booting to
Safe mode and checking Device Mgr. for duplicate devices. It's easy enough to check.
'Dups' don't show up in Normal mode.
If there are duplicates of a device, they should all be removed, then reboot. Windows
will detect new hardware and reinstall the drivers, as long as they can be located
on the drive. Anyway, good luck getting it all sorted out. :)

I did check the bootlog and everything seemed up to par. I'll give the duplicate
devices a try. Thanks again for your help!
