Windows dialog font problem

Hello,
I'm having a problem with the font displayed in the some standard Windows Me dialog
screens, such as the Home Networking Wizard and the login screen of Msn Messenger.
They only show blocks.
1. What font does Windows Me use for these dialogues?
2. Can I restore it by just downloading an uncorrupted/new font?
