hi.. i have win me with asus TUA266 motherboard, celeron 850 and ram 256.. my problem is, my system always hang... actually this comp is my fren and help him to check.. i found that, in bios setting, the cpu speed is different from what it actually have.. which mean he overclock.. from 850mhz to 1100mhz.. is overclocked can caused motherboard malfunction? if i start the system is safe mode, it mostly likely not hang... but have some time that, i at bios setting the system hand up also.. is this mean the motherboard failure? the startup sometimes ok and able to load windows successfuly, i can use ms work, excel... but when i play the windows media player for song or video.. it hangs... please help for my problem.. thanks in advace..

Overclocking will affect the RAM too. "Unoverclock" it and it will most likely run fine. In fact it'll probably run better and more reliably too.
