Java Runtime Environment and Windows ME CD

I have a couple of questions that I really need answers to:
I had a systems crash 4 days ago, this makes the 2nd time within a 2-month period.
This last time it crashed, there was a sound like a lite explosion, and with that
was a grinding or churning sound coming from my PC, then the lock up would happen,
it did that constantly, with every step I took, literally. I was told on the Geeks
to Go forum that it sounded like I had Malware, I did everything they instructed
me to do and now NO problems. Before I could get back up on my PC, I did a F-disk,
than a Quick Restore, in doing these, I deleted the wrong Partitions, instead of
the "C" Partitions, I think I deleted the "D" Partitions. Any why, I did NOT know
what I was doing in the 1st place, but to my surprise, I got my PC back.
My question is this: Can someone tell me where I find and download, Java Runtime
Environment or J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 for Windows ME. I remember seeing I
think both of them on my Systems Add/Remove Programs screen, will at least one of
them any way. Up until the crash, I had no problem playing any games online, but
now, I can't play because they will not open. I went to Sun Java's website and download
many, many times, but still can not find anything that looks like it on my PC. In
fact, I know it's not there because still can't open any games.
2nd Question:
Can someone tell me where I can get a Windows ME CD. I purchased this PC in 2000
so it's old, Windows ME was already loaded onto the PC, so I've never owned the CD.
I would love to know where I can get one so I can uninstall this old thing and start
anew, if at all possible. Or could/would someone be willing to share theirs with
me just long enough for me to install.
Thank you for your help !!!
Debra
