I have been having trouble for a long time whenever adobe reader is used. It seems to take forever to load and sometimes freezes everthing up.I dread the times when there is something I would like to view in pdf. Win ME,512mb Ram in a Dell 800 laptop. Thanks for any ideas Jim

Which version of Adobe are you using Jim?

Try a Foxit, a small pdf reader, with little overhead. Works good. I did find a couple pdf docs, I did need Adobe for at the IRS Web site, so you may need Adobe on occasion, and on WinME I found newer Versions of Adobe seemed buggy, and went back to Version 5.
