I'm still happy using WinME. However, one thing that bugs me is having to change the Explorer window size each time I open a folder. When initially opened, Explorer folders come up rather small onscreen. I end up having stretch them to the desired size, or use the scroll bar more than I'd like. When I stretch a folder window, I expect Windows to remember the size and position, the same as most program windows do. Can someone tell me a way to achieve this in WinME?

Open a Windows Explorer window, stretch it out and also hit the maximize button, then close it. Go to Windows Explorer on the Accessories menu and right click on it, select Properties. In the Run line use the drop down list to select Maximize, then Apply and OK. That should do it. The same method will work with applications too.

Thanks Larry! I had never noticed the link to Explorer in the Accessories group. David

You're welome. I like most applications, Explorer, Outlook Express, etc. to open maximized so I use that function a lot.
