lexplore error's.
1. go to your start menu.
2.click on search; for files and foldrs.
3. scroll down and check advanced options.
4. click search sub-folders.
5. type in lexplore in the fields above.
6. click search.
7. delete the files that are found; you can check
the properties of each file and check the date it was
created. If it was not created when your operating system was loaded, delete it.
THIS WORKED FOR ME; I HAD ONLY ONE BOGUS FILE.
LEXPLORE WAS GONE!

Hi Greg.

Is this a tip or do you have a specific problem?

The fact that you've found a file date after the OS was installed doesn't mean much.
If you downloaded a service pack then these dates will be newer than the original.

A program that I've used for years is Uninstall
Manager 4.3. The name is a bit misleading because it doesn't uninstall anything.
It tells you want additional files have been added to you hard drive since the last
check.

You can set it so it ignores folders that are always being updated e.g. Temporary
Internet Files, Cookies and Recent documents. This way you know if something has
been downloaded of the web without you knowing about it. You just send it to the
Recycle Bin and you can delete the files later.

You can also do a system restore at the click of a button.
