Hi I have a lap top that went black on me except for some white writing on
it I can get nothing up.
What happened is that someone gave me the lap top but couldnt remember the password
so I could get in as a guest but nothing else.
Any way I have the discs for me 2000 but i cant uninstall anything because nothing
is coming up.
can I just stick the 2 discs in there.

The Link shows How to install Windows 98, which works for Win ME as well. If you
have a Windows 2000 CD then all you have to do is Boot from the CD, and follow the
on-screen Directions.
