Just got this, it's supposed to run on Win XP which I don't have. I've looked for drivers but can't find any for Win ME. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks! Theresa

Device and new hardware support for Win 9X is all but totally gone. You will need
XP as it says. Unless someone has come up with a work-around, you have no choice...
If it needs WMP 10 for instance, then it won't work on Win 9X as Win 9X won't upgrade
to WMP 10. Sorry..

Windows ME does recognize some mp3 players like removable Hard Drives. Take a look in the Device Manager for it. If it shows up there then you need to assign it a Drive letter and check it is a removable Drive. Then you may be able to Drag n Drop mp3's to it that way from My Computer like it is another Hard Drive,

Hi Steve - yes it shows up in the Device Manager under "Other Devices" with a yellow question mark beside it! It wants me to give it a driver, which is my problem. But i don't see a place to assign it to a drive?? In View Devices By Connections it's under USB Root Hub, but again I don't see anywhere to assign it a drive? thanks, Theresa

The couple MP3 players I have had this work, would show up under Disk Drives, as a USB Drive.

There aren't any. The C200 lists as a "minimum system requirement" Windows XP. You'll have to give up on one or the other: the player, or WinME.

Weird, I have XP and Sansa e200 from http://go.shopsansa.com/ and didn't have this problem. Probably this issues is particular for c200 only?

Nothing weird at all. The e200 is designed to work with XP, the c200 isn't.
