Hi Dan.

Still having problems?

Well there weren't any official service packs for Win98SE or WinME e.g. SP1, SP2
there were just updates for applications that you are using.

The official updates can still be found on Microsoft.

Windows Update Software

I know it says Important: End of Support for Windows 98 and Windows ME but
if you do a scan (it knows your operating system) it will tell you what files you
need to update. Then you just choose the files from the list and download/update.

There is also 98SE Option
Pack 1.0.1 for Win98SE and WinME.

And Windows
9x Power Pack 4.0 for Win98SE and WinME

You can have a read here as well.

Which ones?

The first one is a Microsoft update direct so that can be trusted.

The other two links are unofficial updates but they can be trusted. I've downloaded
them and used some parts. They have a menu system where you choose what you want
to install/update.
