Brenda, try posting this question in the Windows XP forum (see link in the panel
in the left margin of this page).
We here only use Windows ME. We have never used XP. But Windows XP users, on the
other hand, may have used ME before upgrading to XP, so may have experience of *both*
systems.
As your posting raises questions about both ME and XP, you may therefore have better
luck asking it in the XP forum.
