How do I stop programs from starting automatically in the task bar. MSN Messenger
always starts automatically, and I would like it not to, along with some others.

With MSN open click tools-options-preference and untick start with windows

To solve your problem: Click start, click run, then type msconfig Then click OK
Now click the startup tab Now scroll down and uncheck the things that you
do not want to startup in your systems tray. Please note: It is a good idea to leave
a check on the following items: SCAN REGISTRY-----SYSTEM TRAY------UPD REGISTRY----and
your ----- ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARE.....enjoy ok
