I also have a big problem with sytem resources. The big probelm is that my old PII 400 with 128 RAM WIn98SE always has at least 80% free ressources and does not ever crash on load. I managed to fix my problems it seems. All I had to do was update my motherboards bios. I don't know if you guys both have the same card but the last update of the bios for my motherboard which is version 2.9 fixes an error with the Geforce2 communicating with the HDD it said. As soon as I flashed it my comp started running perfectly. So far no errors. I've reset quiet a few times too. It's been working good for about 24 hours now. I suggest you guys try updating your mother board bios. Turning power management off in System is supposed to help for a lot of people. Failing that you need to go into msconfig (RUN it) and just switch off startup options until you isolate what causes it.
