i upgraded my system from windows 98 to windows me, ive got a chess programme which i downloaded which worked on the 98, but it's not working on this me system, its called arasan 5.4, why is this and what can i do to solve this problem, i've tried downloading the programme again, but still the same problem, the programme downloads, but doesn't open, it installs itself, but when i click on it, nothing happens, thanks

Most likely the game is a old game that wants to make changes in the autoexec.bat and config.sys files,which ME doesnt use. So im afraid you will not be able to play that game or maybe the game has a version which is compatible with ME.
