I've two questions on Secure startup that is explained here: http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/system/platform/pcdesign/secure-start_exec.mspx 1. Is the key to the encrypted disk available only to the operating system that set it up? What if I have two OSes on my system and want to share a partition with the other operating system. 2. How about the case where I want to move the harddisk to another computer and want to use it just for space and not for installing OS? if the key resides on the motherboard, how will it work with upgrade or replacement of the motherboard? If anyone understands Secure startup and has answers to these questions, I would appreciate knowing them. Thanks!
