I opened the task manager prior launching nero and terminated any process other than
essential system processes and didn't touch the computer while the image was created.
This minimized the change in data on the drive during the burning process. I also
unchecked verify, which may or may not have helped.
I'm running the 32 bit version. There is a separate 64 bit version.
Vista beta 1 is surprisingly stable, but most applications and drivers had to be
installed in xp compatibility mode in order to properly install. Installing Alcohol
120% caused stop errors (blue screen of death revisited) but others have had success
in installing Alcohol on Vista. There are dozens of bugs and most anti-virus software
won't work at this point, but overall, Vista is going to be great once
a) the bugs are worked out
b) applications are made to work with it
