Windows NT Kernel has evolved. NT 3.1, 3.5, 3.51, 4.0, 5.0 "2000", 5.1 "XP"/".NET",
5.2 "2003" and 5.3 or 6.0 "Vista". Since 5.1, it is avaiable for 32 bit and 64 bit
platforms. (WinNT3.1 introduced the Win32 programming model; Win95 was developed
as an adaptation of Win32 for Windows; the 16bit app compat layer is called WOW "Windows
On Win32") Win2k/XP/2k3 are 100% 32 and/or 64 bit. Windows 9x/ME are 64% 16 bit,
36% 32 bit.
