So I installed vista on a separate partition and everything worked just fine. I made my boot.ini so as XP is my default OS. However, there's a minor annoyance. When I restart my comp, the boot loader gives me two options: Legacy (pre longhorn windows version) or Longhorn. Selecting Longhorn obviously boots vista, but selecting Legacy brings me to another screen with another two choices:XP or Longhorn. XP boots just fine if I choose it, and choosing Longhorn again also boots vista. What is the point of this redundancy and is there anyway to eliminate it?
