Read only attributes Friday, August 26, 2005 at 7:07 pm Windows Vista Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Steve (23811 messages posted) Every folder in Vista has read only attributes, and they just revert back to read only when you try to remove the attribute. The problem is some Applications I have been trying won't save files to a folder that is read only. I did some Googling, and it seems it was done to prevent Malware from being installed. Well fine, but I want to save some files I created too. What to do.
