Not being able to save file depended on the application. I bet MS is expecting
vendors to make software compatible, but getting those oldie but user friendly
Apps working will take some time for the regedits to catch up. The info Adam
gave me seemed on the right track, but I bet I needed to apply it in the
Admin setting, and I don't think I ever found that either. I made just one user
account with Admin. privilege, but I think a deeper Admin account is somewhere to
be found. The Help feature built in didn't seem to be working yet, and internet search
engines had little useful info about using Vista. After a couple weeks using Vista
though I satisfied
my curiosity about it, and removed it today. Now I'm not sure why Geeks are so excited
about it.
