Vista will be what all the others have been, Bigger (in bulk) with a "new" look (very damanding on graphics and memory) but not a vaste improvement over thier last (patched) Os. It will be pushed to market - not when it is ready, but when Ms needs to have a new product out. The underlying devolopers innovations (see Ms website) are there to create a need and market for new software - because they can't make money off of software that you already own, they need to sell you "new" software. One possitive note: The developer innovations will encourage 64 bit development. (to the joy of AMD and INTEL).
