Take a pass Bro...whoever is selling it is taking a risk by copying (pirating) it
and selling it. Beta versions are generally only available to MSDN (Microsoft Developer
Network) subscribers and large OEMs. They're risking their licence.
We have all the releases since the first Longhorn release here at my company as we
are an MSDN subscriber. It's still not ready for prime time, though interesting.
Save your money for one thing, and for another it takes a pretty high powered machine
in the first place to even install it and run it. Still, I wouldn't put it on anything
but a dedicated test rig. Yeah, you could dual boot it on your XP machine if it has
the guts, but at this stage it's still frustrating at times and not all that exciting
unless it's free.
