Hey, folks. The timing of my 'halting' experience is similar to Paul's, every 5
or 6 minutes. But it seems to be just the screen that is interrupting things. I
get a 2-flash blackout, and the active window loses its cursor focus.
Vista is installed over an up-to-date XP-home, with the recommended Trend Micro a-v
program installed. I've shut down any 3rd-party background tasks I was running.
Thanks for any tips.
