I can't get Vista to install. I've downloaded the 32bit ISO a few times and made a few DVD coasters. I tried to boot from one DVD and it sat there for about 30 seconds, then loaded my default OS (win xp). I made another DVD that actually showed up and booted, but then failed with a hard drive error (I have an IDE hdd, not SATA). Then I extracted the files from the ISO, copied them to my hdd, and tried to run setup.exe. I then got an error saying SPWIZENG.DLL wasn't found. After that error I get a message about a corrupt or unloaded autorun.dll file, error code 0x7E. What is going on? I have a 2.6ghz P4 with HT, 1gb ram, intel mobo.
