Your response was utterly useless. I specifically asked for a way to get rid of it WITHOUT turning on automatic updates, and you just told me to turn them on. I USE MY COMPUTER AT ALL HOURS, AND I DON'T WANT AUTOMATIC UPDATES TO CONSUME MY RESOURCES AT INCONVENIENT TIMES. I don't want the crap downloading in the background, or waiting to install updates and eating up my processing power while I am rushing to finish what I am doing so I can get to work. I want it gone. There is NO convenient time for the thing to run automatically, but I do it manually EVERY day, at different times according to when I have the time. I want automatic update GONE and I don't want the retarded security center trying to tell me that my computer is vulnerable because it is not.
