My Athlon 64 3200+ and Geforce 6150 GPU coped perfectly well with the Aero Glass
feature of Vista until Windows suggested I disabled some of the features whilst running
an Antivirus scan (Kaspersky Anti Virus for some reason using excessive resources
at the time. Have since uninstalled)
However it now seems I have completely lost the ability to restore the Aero Glass
feature whichever way I try. "Visual Appearance" just brings up the old XP style
Appearance Settings and no options related to glass colour/translucency.
Can anyone suggest why this has happened and can it be got around using registry
tweaks etc?
I got quite used to this visual "folly" and would really like it back!
All suggestions gratefully received.
