The problem with turning off this so-called feature, is it negates the supposed purpose of buying into this new resource mega-pig of an operating system in the name of 'Security'.

And you're going to get to buy new hardware to make it look like it should / could, and spend a LOT of time figuring out where all the stuff is that you used to use all the time, and the whole process makes it SEEM like you've just improved your life's situation.

In reality, you've probably taken a step to the rear, and are a few hundred dollars the lighter for it.

So you're going to convince yourself you just 'upgraded' to something wonderful.

I'm trying it out now (the new pre-RC1) and it would never be my first or second choice of operating system.

Those OK boxes are SOOOOO annoying, there's GOT to be a better way or a compromise of some sort.
