I'm with you on this one! I tried it out and could find nothing in it whatsoever that made it useful to me. the security "features" are just a pain in the neck. And like you said, turning them off defeats the whole purpose of buying it. And all the "pretty" stuff (sidebar and what not) can all be found online for free for XP. I'm not buying it , heck they gave me a copy and I'm not using that either. All I got out of it was a messed up bootloader I know have my BIOS set to boot from the second drive I installed Vista to in order to boot XP on my first drive. I can't stand how stupid Microsoft has become.
