Hi, I recently obtained a beta version of Windows Vista and partitioned about 12 gigs of my original harddrive to do a complete install of the operating system. When I start up my computer I have the option of booting in XP or Vista. When I boot normally in Vista, my monitor (Dell 2007FPW) goes into power save mode and cannot get an output signal from either the VGA port on my graphics card (ATI Radeon x1600) or the built in card on my motherboard. I installed the vista drivers for my card in the partition containing the Vista but the problem still won't go away. On top of this, when I boot in safe mode in Vista, the monitor gets a signal but then it tells me that I can't complete the install in safe mode. Now what!?
