Graphics card problem

I have a Gigabyte K8VM800M rev 2 motherboard and Im attempting to install an nVidia
FX5000 PCI graphics card. I keep getting a code 43 error. Anyone have any suggestions??
I disabled the onboard graphics card through device manager and that still didnt
help.
