Well, it was a good plan. I've done similar things, like formatting an external USB drive accidentally (with all my data files). It sort of like when I had a swimming pool installed and started putting chemicals in to keep it clean. I forgot the formula, so just put a month's supply of the muriatric acid in, thinking that must be the right amount. Anyway, I finally decided to totally disconnect "mission critical" harddrives when fooling around with formatting or installing other drives. --Ray B
