How to get rid of annoying message Friday, December 8, 2006 at 7:31 am Windows Vista Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by gazrobsuk (22 messages posted) Guys, Sorry forgot to mention in my last post.. I turned of UAC (as it annoyed me) but each time I boot I get the windows red cross thing in the taskbar (security warning) telling me I have compromised security etc. Any clues how I turn that off (I had a look in Services but tried one or two things which failed) in fact BTW how do I turn off balloon tips like Tweakui used to in XP. All tips welcome:-)) as it's all new.
