Apparently MS is feeling the heat over its Vista digital rights management technology. While trying to defend itself, it confirms that "the quality of "premium content" would be lowered, [but] only if requested by copyright holders." MS also "admitted that the CPU will be taxed" by this technology. This as reported by the BBC on 22 Jan 07: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/6286245.stm
