1 meg?? Did you mean 1 GB? Anyways, usually if Windows Vista ReadyBoost is working, you will see it on your total memory. So if hold on to "window key" + "pause/break", it will show you the total memory you have on your computer. So for example if you only have 1gb memory in your computer install and you insert a 1gb flash drive you will notice your total memory will be around 2gb. Not all flash drive is compatiable with the Readyboost feature in Vista.
