Boot from your DVD and then when you see the "Install Now", look at the bottom left you will see "repair ....." select that. Click "next" and then select the "command prompt" in the command prompt type your dvd rom drive letter for example E: then type cd boot then type bootsect /nt60 all The reason why you can't boot back into Vista is because when you install XP, XP bootmgr took over and convert your boot to nt52, thus you need to convert it back to nt60 (vista).
