Transfer Your Programs from XP SP2 to Vista

Microsoft purchased the program (and the company that published it) called "Aloha 
Bob PC Relocator" last year in order to use it as a basis for a new utility to be 
released to help Vista buyers move not only their data and settings*** but their 
programs as well from their old computer to their Vista computer.

It's called the Easy Transfer Companion.
The Beta is available for download here:

***Note that the Easy Transfer Companion does NOT move data or settings...for that 
you need "Easy File Transfer," an updated and improved program included in Vista 
similar to the XP Files and Settings Transfer Wizard.  Here's an MS KB on Easy File
