If your computer is using an on-motherboard or add-in card 3114 SATA chipset from
Silicon Image, there have been reports that the current drivers for the card are
not playing nice with Vista, resulting in Vista wanting to be activated every day.
The original poster in the MS WGA Forum thread was using 64 bit drivers; it's unknown
whether the problem is in the 64 bit drivers only, or both 64 bit and 32 bit drivers.
According to a post in the following WGA Forum thread, SiI is working on the issue
and is expected to have the problem corrected in the near future. That post also
links to beta drivers that are expected to correct the problem; the usual precautions
regarding beta software and drivers apply.
