Well, you are correct…it doesn’t work (ask me how I know). I did Xfer everything to the old Wizard via an external HD, clean installed Vista but the new “easy” Xfer prog said the backup was “old “and would not accept it. No worries, I’ll Xfer that to another XP box and then try the “easy” Vista Xfer via a USB cable. I find it odd that MS would not make the two apps/systems compatible………….. Thanx for the reply, John
