Windows Vista Home Premium (may work on other formats) 1. Uninstall Audio driver . 2. Disable UAC . 3. Install 6213 Audio driver from http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=23&PFid=23&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false#AC UAC seemed to stop me from installing my audio drivers even right clicking and installing as an administrator. Turning off UAC 1. Go to Control Panel-User Accounts 2. In this menu option there should be an underlined option called Turn User Account On or Off...click that. 3. Unselect the option Use User Account Control (UAC) to Help Protect My Computer and then reboot your system.
