to my knowledge router, hub and access point are pretty much the same thing. You
would use a router to share your network so people can access each computer or share
an internet connection. I think access point typically refers to this as well, if
you have a wireless router...which is better value, you would consider that an access
point because anyone with wireless could then access your network via it. I think
hub is pretty much the same thing again, although usually allows more connections
than a domestic hub. The only one im not entirely sure on is switch, but i reckon
google can answer that
