You would need to see if the Laptop has XP Drivers, then if so Wipe out the Vista Install, and install XP, During the Install make 2 Partitions. Install XP on the First one. Then Install Vista on the Second Partition. If your Vista DVD is a System Restore Disk it won't work. You would need a MS Vista Install Disk. If you get this far just use Google for more Details. Lots of Web sites already have dual Boot information.
