Hi deviant,

On mine, as long as I have the "Notify me when Windows Firewall blocks a new program" checked, Windows Firewall automatically notifies me of a blocked incoming or outgoing new item. It's only for new items though. 1. open Windows Firewall (Control Panel) 2. click on "Change Settings" 3. click on "Exceptions" tab 4. check it at the bottom 5. click OK to apply Hope this helps you some, Shawn
