Vista wireless printing problem

Hi All! I hope someone has an answer to this problem: Have a printer (HP 840C) hooked up to a desktop running WinXP Home and sharing it over the Network. I'm trying to print from a Dell Laptop (running Vista Home-Premiere)wirelessly to this printer, I can see the printer it even shows ready, but when I print, nothing.... I can print fine, when I hook up the printer with a USB-Cable straight the the HP 840c, but as I said, it's not working wireless. Had a friend come over with his wireless Laptop (running XP-Pro) and he's got no problems printing. Tried different drivers, old ones, as well as drivers from the HP-Website, which HP says are "Vista-Compatible". When I print something, and have the printer-spool window on the desktop pc open, I can see the document for about 1 second in the spool-window, then it disappears. So to me it seems I have to get rid off Vista and install WinXP, or has anyone a better solution for this...??? Best regards, tlynyrd (*ytsejam-prog-rocks-solid*)
