Try this if you haven't already, go to Network, then double-click on the desktop
with the printer. If a log-in window pops up, then you need to type in the info
for an account on your desktop. (Also, you are going to need to connect to that
computer using that log-in prompt before printing after restarting your laptop.
For some reason, it won't remember the password even if you check that little box.)
You should see your printer icon along with any shared folders. Right-click the
printer icon and hit Connect and try and print a test page. If you can, then try
another document.
