EAX on Vista (Skippy Sound) Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 10:32 pm Windows Vista Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by jvboy_17 (98 messages posted) With 'Creative Alchemy' I am able to enable EAX sound with Vista -- however I am having skippy sound on some games. I have played with my PCI latency settings but it was of no help. I have also modified alchemy.ini and dsound.ini and made a little bit of experiment with duration and buffer settings. I am using Creative X-fi platinum. What else could be the culprit behind this?
